Midweek Min preview

Just a quick posting before tomorrow’s Midweek Miniatura, which will put you out of your misery if you are still wondering about last week’s mystery object.  Just to remind you, here it is:P1010008

It’s ceramic, rough on the outside, glazed on the inside, has a removable bung and would have been found in a kitchen. This perfect, exact replica, miniature was made by potter Terry Curran, who taught himself turning on a lathe in order to make the  lovely wooden bung.  This virtuoso 24th scale piece is 1cm in diameter.  Amazing.  I’ll tell you what it is tomorrow.

Also coming up will be news of the demonstrations at Spring Min.

If you are a Miniatura artisan and you have found me when checking out the Miniatura website, I’d love to tell everyone about your special piece.  All I need is an email photo and the facts, please get in touch.  JaneLaverick.com is regularly read several times a week in over 25 countries and 12 languages by people who love the Internet but are only just finding out about collectable artisan miniature art, through this website.
