|  Another 16 inch all porcelain, articulated angel with a range of mediaeval movement, removable clothes, quilted wings, ethereal pale green acrylic eyes and eyelashes. The angels, inspired by one of the largest collections of mediaeval carvings in existence, still in the chapel they were made for, are dressed in 14th century villein's clothing, such as the figures in contemporary manuscripts wear but embroidered and with gold bits, such as the workers in heaven wear. I make a lot of dolls and don't keep a sample of all of them but one of these angels has been sitting on my hearth ever since he was made. I talk to him constantly and find him very calming.
