Busy work.

For the next few days I’m going to be endlessly rubbing down ten trays of 2 inch doll parts, that is to say parts for two inch dolls, which are, of course, considerably smaller than two inches.  So I may not have time to post much.  I also wish to stay away from the computer as I will be covered in a fine layer of dust, completely without the benefit of a volcano.

But I did just want to remind you that all the dolls are still waiting in the shop, including this three and a half inch miss.  For new readers who have found me through the blog there’s a whole shop of porcelain dolls that can be accessed by clicking on the shop button on the right.  To turn the shop pages you have to scroll right down to the bottom of each page, but you can sort through the categories by clicking on the category buttons to access 12th scale, 24th scale, Not dolls and so on.

Some of them are sitting around on cotton reels just waiting for you to visit, like this 24th scale Victorian lady with flexible limbs.  You can buy them easily with secure Paypal and your plastic card and I will have a look for orders each day when I’ve washed the dust off, but in the main for the next few days I shall be sitting as still as I can except for breathing through a respirator and wiggling the busy old fingers.  Glamorous it ain’t but the dolls are and they’ll keep you entertained till I get back.  Did you know you can play with the zoom tool?  Just click on the buttons on the bottom right of each picture in the shop to zoom in and see considerably better than you can with the naked eye.  And very, very, very much better than you could with an eye wearing a sock.  Clicking on the little house will take you home to the original size of the picture.

I’m off to do some work, this gentleman will entertain you by arching his eyebrow, quizzically, pending my return.
