I caught a cold at the Min and yesterday had my Covid and Flu vaccine and feel as you might imagine.
There will be proper posting when I recover.
Meanwhile huge thanks to Dawn who saved my bacon at the Min. Nowadays I am down with the kids and have a PayPal card terminal to take card payments.
This would be wonderful if I had a smart phone and knew how to work a handheld screen. I have not and do not and as a result, couldn’t take payment from my first customer and had no idea what I was doing wrong.
Dawn, brilliantly, handed me her handbag as collateral and headed for the door with the terminal, to see if the metal building was acting as a Faraday cage.
After a while she came back smiling. Some idiot (me) had apparently set the terminal to aeroplane mode. How? Why? Randomly sliding my fingers across the screen. Thick as a brick, dear.
Happily Dawn knew what to do and put it right.
Thank you Dawn, thank you very much, well done.
Miniaturists are lovely people, Dawn is a very good example.
Back to bed for me, catch you later.
